Organic Cotton Bee Suits (GOTS)

We’re so buzzed to be using certified Organic Cotton under the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) for our Organic Cotton and Beekeeping Suit.

Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) is the worldwide leading textile processing standard for organic fibres, including ecological and social criteria, backed up by independent certification of the entire textile supply chain.

This is excellent news for the bees, as certified organic cotton prohibits the use of synthetic fertilisers or pesticides during growth and production of the plants. 

We’re so passionate about the health of bees and pollinators, as well as the humans who grow and handle the cotton. We feel it’s extremely important to ensure that we only use fabric that has this certification, which also includes the prohibition of toxic chemicals in the cotton fibre spinning and fabric weaving process.

A cotton product carrying the GOTS Organic Certification means that it is produced with 100% certified organic cotton fibre.

This means you can wear your stylish Flow beekeeping suit knowing you’ve not harmed any bees or humans in its production- now that’s the bee’s knees!
