The frames are modular, and are operated separately to extract honey.
We do recommend bunching the Flow Frames together in one section of your super to reduce cross comb. This also makes it easier to modify an existing super with one cut, to be able to access the Flow Frames from the back of the box.
Our Flow Frames are most successful when using 3 or 6 Flow Frames in an 8 Frame Langstroth box and 4 or 7 frames in a 10 frame Langstroth hive.
