Since its introduction in Australia, the Araucaria Flow Hive Classic has become the hive of choice for Australian Flow Beekeepers. It’s now available to our U.S. customers as a limited edition for $629.00 USD.

Crafted from sustainably harvested Australian Araucaria, using precision laser CNC manufacturing and paired with a full set of 6 Flow Frames, this is one sweet hive!

Araucaria, also known as Hoop Pine is a premium Australian native cabinet timber, highly regarded for its stability & durability. To ensure it lasts a long time outdoors, two good coats of quality weatherproof sealant such as exterior house paint or varnish is a must. You can be as creative with the paint job as you like! (See photos further down for some inspiration.)

The patented Flow Frame technology is the most significant advancement in beekeeping since 1852, allowing you to tap honey directly from your hive right into a jar. Made in Brisbane, Australia, from durable, BPA- and BPS-free plastic, Flow Frames have taken the beekeeping world by storm.

More than just a beehive, the Flow Hive Classic is a thing of beauty.

SAFETY, CARE & MAINTAINING OF YOUR FLOW HIVE

Apply a coat or two of timber sealant to protect the timber and help it last longer.

Beekeeping is a labour of love. As with all animal husbandry, it’s a pastime which requires knowledge, skill and dedication and which carries with it inherent risks. Sooner or later, all beekeepers get stung. Some people have severe allergies to bee stings, so please be aware of the potential hazards when considering whether beekeeping is right for you.
