Need a spare baseboard for your Flow Hive Classic 6, or want to convert your existing 8 frame Langstroth hive to the Flow method of harvesting?
Due to a warehouse clearance, we have a limited number of last season’s screened baseboards in western red cedar.
Offered at the incredible clearance price of $30!
Flow Baseboards are specially manufactured with an optimal backwards sloping angle of 2.5º for easy honey harvesting from your Flow Frames.
Complete with an inbuilt pest management system, including stainless steel mesh for easy monitoring of unwanted guests within the hive and the ability to add a coreflute slider* to control the airflow for your colony to suit local conditions.
In our current model we have upgraded the mesh to a smaller gauge, so please note; these clearance items may contain some inconsistencies in the mesh. If you are happy to tinker with any gaps or add some additional mesh to prevent any bee sized spaces, then this product is offered at a great price!
NOTE: USA and Canada dispatch in 1-2 business days. All other countries have a 7 to 10 day dispatch time. See our shipping chart here.
Baseboard Cedar 6 (Scratch & Dent)
• Only compatible with Flow Hive/Super Classic 6 Frame, Flow Super Hybrid 3 (with 8 frame brood box underneath) or 8 frame Langstroth hives.
WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING
We did our first harvest on Sunday, we yielded 8.5 kg from 3 frames, so we are very excited. We used simple glad-wrap over the bucket to stop potential pilfering. And not knowing for sure if you 'just turn a tap and get honey' we put it straight into a bucket with a gate and a sieve on top, just in case. We then poured out of gate from bucket into jars in the kitchen, in the a/c. Beeutiful!
I need to take a Minute to thank the Flow Hive team for coming up with such and amazing Honey Super. It has been our second year with The Flow Hives and it's just Amazing how the girls don't Evening know you are drawing the honey out. They don't get injured or stress and so much LESS work than removing a super and cutting the wax cappings off each side of the frames and spinning all the frames and let's not forget the clean up. We have harvested the Flow Hive twice this summer and the girls are just working to fill the frames up again. Of course you still need to do regular Brood Box inspections, which always tells a bee keeper a whole lot of info.
Flow Hive Is The WAY TO GO .
Thanks Again Flow Hive.
F%#$! That's the Holy Grail of beekeeping.

... Your Flow Hive is what got me started in beekeeping.....and now I'm President of the Lake County Beekeepers! Who knew that your invention would lead to meeting some great people and helping so many of us become good stewards of our bees. Congratulations again!
