Need a spare baseboard for your Flow Hive Classic 6, or want to convert your existing 8 frame Langstroth hive to the Flow method of harvesting?

Due to a warehouse clearance, we have a limited number of last season’s screened baseboards in western red cedar.

Offered at the incredible clearance price of $30!

Flow Baseboards are specially manufactured with an optimal backwards sloping angle of 2.5º for easy honey harvesting from your Flow Frames.

Complete with an inbuilt pest management system, including stainless steel mesh for easy monitoring of unwanted guests within the hive and the ability to add a coreflute slider* to control the airflow for your colony to suit local conditions.

In our current model we have upgraded the mesh to a smaller gauge, so please note; these clearance items may contain some inconsistencies in the mesh. If you are happy to tinker with any gaps or add some additional mesh to prevent any bee sized spaces, then this product is offered at a great price!

*Coreflute slider not included.

WHAT'S INCLUDED

  1. Baseboard Cedar 6 (Scratch & Dent)

• Only compatible with Flow Hive/Super Classic 6 Frame, Flow Super Hybrid 3  (with 8 frame brood box underneath) or 8 frame Langstroth hives.

WHAT OUR CUSTOMERS ARE SAYING

  • Within 2 days of the harvest, the bees had removed the cappings and resealed the cell walls with wax, ready for the next batch of honey. My husband is so delighted, that he does not want to extract honey by any method other than Flow frames in the future!

  • I recommend it to anyone who mentions they think it would be "fun" to have bee's. We love the hive and think it is great way for us as beginners to learn about bees.

  • It has been really exciting to be included in the first automatic honey-harvesting device in history. I am really proud of what the Andersons have achieved. Cedar gave me the first jar of honey ever harvested in this way and it is still in my pantry, too precious to be eaten. Congratulations, you two.

  • I can't thank you enough for the creation of flow hive!
My beekeeping hobby has turned into a family hobby a first for my family.
    Thank you!
