The Flow Entrance Reducer is handy for protecting your colony against predators and robbing, or for reducing drafts in cold climates, and can be used to seal the hive entrance for short periods when relocating your hive.
Harvesting shelf brackets
These convenient, height-adjustable, Flow-branded harvesting shelf brackets make collecting your honey even easier!
Retro-fit your Flow Hive Classic with this popular feature of the Flow Hive 2.
Precision laser cut and crafted from Western Red Cedar, they can be added to a Flow Hive Classic Araucaria* to convert your rear access cover into a handy height-adjustable harvesting shelf.

How to use your entrance reducer
Entrance reducers are designed to narrow the entry point of the hive. This can be useful for protecting your hive against predators or robbing colonies, as this allows the guard bees to more effectively control who enters the hive.
They can also be helpful in cold climates for reducing drafts and snow from entering the hive throughout the cooler months.
How to assemble your harvesting shelf brackets
The Flow Harvesting Shelf Bracket kit comes with easy-to-assemble hardware and can be stored safely when not in use. Can be assembled in the same way as Flow Hive 2 harvesting shelf brackets. Download the assembly guide here.
