Western Red Cedar timber base, multipurpose pest management tray, metal screen, rear vented cover, spirit levels to create the optimal slope for harvesting, landing board, an Integrated Adjustable Hive Stand, and Flow Ant Guards™.
*This accessory is best used with the Flow Hive 2 Brood Box, however, can be used with any Flow Hive or Brood Box model – please be aware that there may be some discrepancies in the width of the box to the base.
Confused about what size to get? Don't worry we get it! Our Flow Frames are slightly wider than traditional wooden brood frames, so for an 8 frame Langstroth hive, 6 Flow Frames are used to completely fill the super.

I recently purchased a second flow hive as well as a Base and Stand for my existing Flow Hive Classic. You know what….. I have never been more impressed with the manner in which I am received by FlowHive Staff in that they are always welcoming, and secondly how amazingly well thought out their production process is; the quality of the items bought and the instructions by which to assemble them. You can tell that a lot of thought has gone into the way to put the gear together, but not from the manufacturer’s point of view, but from the purchaser's point of view who are simply not as familiar with the product. So the step by step approach is fantastic, especially for those of us, like me, who congratulate ourselves for being able to screw a screw in straight, rather than something that looks like a coat hanger! lol.
