Found the Flow Hive 2 so easy to put together, instructions and videos made life so easy!! So far my Bees seem very happy in their new home, love watching them on Bee-Cam when I’m not at home!!
I am wondering what it looks like as I have not received it and will be pursuing you for my money back
This is my second Flow Hive, and it is a great product. The barrier to entry is very low. My first year with 1 Flow Hive I got approx 10 litres of honey, and the year just gone I got approx 20 litres. The honey was delicious and very easy to harvest. So this year I thought I would expand the hive and get a second one.
had immense fun assembling it and setting it up! all ready for next year! painted it in the colours of my football team and it looks spiffing! bring on my bee life!
Bought a flow hive as a gift for my husband who absolutely loves honey thinking it would be cheaper to buy our own hive and keep our own bees than keep buying tons of plastic honey tubs. Well, we got our bees late Nov 2024 so we made it just in time to “rob" one jar off our bees just before winter rolled in, as we had a scorching summer here in south west Australia so did not want to take much at all. Looking after the bees, learning about their world and realising how amazing these little insects are has been the highlight of my life to be honest. Of course watching the honey pouring into our jar was mesmerising and an incredible bonus. I kept thanking our bees over and over!! ….Of course I bought a second hive despite husband telling me we have got too much going on already… oops. One thing to keep in mind is that putting your hive together takes way longer than what the manufacturer instructions say, that is all :-) definitely pre drill each hole as it speeds up the process. I look forward to start a whole new spring season with our two hives and learn even more! Thank you Flow team for allowing us to experience the world of bees in such a magnificent way .
